Baltimore County Public Schools partnered with Discovery Education to host four “Night of Innovation" open houses to demonstrate how teaching and learning is being transformed across Baltimore County through Students and Teachers Accessing Tomorrow. Open houses were held at two Lighthouse High Schools (Chesapeake High and Pikesville High), as well as two non-Lighthouse Schools (Arbutus Middle and Vincent Farm Elementary), to demonstrate how S.T.A.T. is moving beyond Lighthouse Schools. Open to the public, these events allowed visitors to experience hands-on, interactive learning stations, a Student Digital Showcase, model classrooms that exemplify learner-centered environments, and more.
